Pink Winner

The "Dolls in the Attic" Retreat is now over, but what an amazing creative experience it was - five days and five nights with the five most renowned and talented divas of cloth doll making - elinor peace bailey,  Patti Culea, Barbara Willis, Betts Vidal and Sally Lampi.  The retreat was the 20th birthday celebration of "Hello Dollies" the group I belong to... and the main night of celebrating was the Pink Banquet.  Everyone dressed in pink, and five Hello Dollies members, including me,who were hosts for the night created a "table" doll which was won by someone sitting at our tables. Remaking a doll

after   On my "to do " list for a long time was the remake of a doll  I was never happy with...  I couldn't bear to discard all the hours of work I did on the body, so here is the transformation...  1. a new head  before   2. Costume changes and a new stand ....  before after 3. New headdress and hair  before  after 4. Some changes in bead embellishments. before  after I am now much happier with this doll  - what a difference a few changes have made!
